When you cross a purebred Poodle with a purebred dog which does not have a curled coat, such as the Schnauzer, the offspring (F1 generation) may or may not have a curly coat. Our adoption fee is set to a level to make adoptions happen. Percy is up to date on shots and preventatives and is neutered and microchipped. He has been in a foster home with a large pack of dogs and gets along beautifully with everyone!! He shares toys well, loves to snuggle in dogs beds with other pack members as well his people. His perfect forever home MUST have a home with another playful dog of his size and close to his age because Percy LOVES to play! With his paralysis we are looking for a home with children 15Yrs+ up who can be mindful of his legs that drag behind him. We are exclusively looking for a local adopter (to the Franklin TN area only) that is retired or works from home because of the multiple daily bladder expressions and pant changes. The poops, well they shoot out because well when you gotta go you gotta go!! This boy is pure joy and happiness in a small package! Percy is both urinary and fecal incontinent, he wears a belly band while indoors and will need to have his bladder manually expressed and pants changed 3-4 times a day.
